midjourney to earth is a concept album following the existential journey of Commander E and Lieutenant L — our alien alter egos — on a mission to save humanity (once again!).

What begins as a sci-fi narrative aboard a spacecraft bound for a tiny blue planet, soon turns inward: Confronted with their own struggles of ignorance and confusion, the two travelers push through a painful quest for clarity, preparing themselves to face Earth.

The album bridges progressive rock and electronica, blending distorted guitar riffs and heavy drums with atmospheric synth textures and touches of jazz: A fresh and unpredictable foundation for whimsical vocal storytelling.

The songs mirror the uncertainty of the voyage. No track ends where it begins. No conventional song structures confine the travelers’ motion. Odd time signatures, sudden breaks and stark contrasts mark the trip’s detours and challenges along the way.

The story ends on the streets of Berlin — of all places — where, on a sunny autumn afternoon, our protagonists find their way back home.
